Probiotics , in other words is a live bacteria , has been known to be beneficial for the body . However, recently researchers discovered that microorganisms also help you lose weight and prevent obesity .
The human body contains many bacteria living within him . Recent studies revealed that bacterial life is indeed good for digestive health . But they still doubt the ability of probiotics to lose weight .

1 . Results of a 2009 study conducted at the Stanford University School of Medicine found that the use of probiotics in obese patients who have liposuction surgery to help them lose weight . Within three months , the group taking probiotic foods lost weight up to 47.6 percent more .
2 . Study in 2010 in Japan were conducted on 87 obese men revealed that participants who consumed probiotics abdominal fat decreased more after 12 weeks , compared with participants who took a placebo .
3 . In other studies it is known that women find it easier to lose weight after giving birth if taking probiotics during pregnancy . Women who take probiotics during pregnancy has decreased by 43 percent after delivery , while those taking placebo experienced only a 25 percent weight loss .
Even so , the researchers caution that probiotics are not the only key to losing weight . Do not think just by taking probiotics you will instantly lose weight . You also still need to be diligent exercising and eating healthy foods .
